“Ways to Market and Sell Your Photography” will detail the venues available for a photographer to market and sell their work. We will discuss outlets like stock photo sites, souvenir/specialty stores and fine art galleries. During the session, we will discuss the cost, profit, commissions and responsibilities/expectations of each venue. The course will detail different product offering like digital downloads, framed images and canvases and specialty items.
Selling the images of people, places and things also brings responsibility and risk. No discussion of marketing and selling your photography would be complete without a discussion of when and where you’ll need a model release; also, the risk you’ll face from copyright infringement and if/how and when you should apply for copyright.
