Museum Of Bad Art: Tough Times - A Bad Day to Dystopian Apocalypse

Thursday, March 187:00—8:00 PMVirtual MeetingNorfolk Public Library2 Liberty Lane, Norfolk, MA, 02056

The Museum Of Bad Art collects, exhibits, and celebrates art that will be seen in no other venue. Since 1993, they have collected art from thrift stores, yard sales, sidewalk trash, and even the artists who create it. They analyze, compare to classic art, and share with thousands of fans around the world.  Art has always helped get us through difficult times, and there’s been no time quite like the present. In this presentation, Curator in Chief Michael Frank, will explore some of the ways artists react to disasters, small and large, real and imagined.

Michael Frank is Curator in Chief of the Museum Of Bad Art. Mike is a professional musician, entertainer, and pneumatic haberdasher with artistic balloon-twisting skills. He has been MOBA’s Curator for 20 years and lives in Boston.

This program is supported by a grant from the Norfolk Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
