This summer, it's time to Plant a Seed, Read! Tweens/teens can create a funky little plant with Pop up Art School with this kit!
Using colorful wool and a special barbed needle you will sculpt a fun green carnivorous plant complete with fangs and a bright red tongue, all rooted in a real terra-cotta pot. This playful needle felting project is a great introduction to a unique, tactile craft and results in a finished piece that’s equal parts quirky, cute, and display-worthy.
Kit pick up runs from 7/27-8/3 anytime during the library's open hours.
A video link with instructions on how to make the felted plants will be sent on the day of pick up, 7/27.
*This program is for ages 10+ and may require some adult assistance/supervision as the needle used is very sharp. Not recommended for younger crafters.
Capacity: 2 of 15 spaces available.
